Kingston State Park is near our home and we spend a lot of time there when we can't go to the mountains. After Labor Day until Memorial Day you can go there any time you want. During the season you may find crowds and will have to pay a fee, or do as Emma does and wait until 7pm when they close. Many people bring their dogs here after hours to romp with each other and become socialized. This is probabaly your best chance of meeting Emma. She'll be glad to show you around. No dogs are allowed during regular hours. We get away with going in with our dogs after hours because we clean up after our dogs. If the messes became a problem I'm sure we would be asked to stop this practice. Please, if you go, follow all rules of good dog ownership. If someone feels threatened by your dog please leash it. If it messes clean it up!
